Katie Price

Personal trainer specialising in Olympic Weightlifting, Female Strength and Fat Loss

Initially a client, Katie came to EBW in 2014 with an interest in Weightlifting. After quickly developing a love and ability for the sport she became a familiar face in the Weightlifting sessions, and seven years on, she is now regularly competing to a national standard.

Katie has spent most of her life in and around fitness and competitive sport, with a lot of her experiences being in Gymnastics. She had a 13-year athletic career in Gymnastics and was a regular member of the junior and senior national squads, representing Great Britain in various international competitions.

In the years following her Gymnastics retirement, Katie has furthered her education by completing an undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise Science, Personal Trainer qualifications, Gymnastics and Weightlifting coaching and officiating qualifications, as well as other CPD to continue to support her learning and growth as a coach.

Katie calls upon her many years of experience as an athlete and coach to deliver creative yet results-driven sessions. Her time in gymnastics has really highlighted to her how important flexibility/mobility and core training is, and even more so as we age, where generally we become more sedentary. Her exposure in Weightlifting has enabled her to hone her compound lifts (Squat, Deadlift, Bench press, Overhead pressing as well as the Olympic lifts), and as well as being able to teach/help you improve in all these lifts, she can also help you understand how it should feel, and really sharpen up your technique.

Whatever your goals are, Katie has experience of working with a diverse range of clients, from those looking to achieve weight/fat loss, those looking to get stronger, achieve their first pull up, competitive weightlifters, or even with those that want to feel fitter for daily life, no goal is too big or too small.
